NOTICE TO PARENTS

Jackson County Schools is working closely with the Jackson County Health Department to provide awareness and prevention of the spread of illness. At the beginning of school, you received a pink information sheet with tips on how to prepare for and prevent the spread of swine flu. Schools are taking precautions such as cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, and providing soap, towels, and hand sanitizer to help reduce the spread of germs and to keep kids healthy.

You can help by reinforcing frequent hand washing, keeping children home when they are ill, and making arrangements for their care in your absence. School nurses and staff will follow these guidelines:
