Good evening Ripley Middle School Parents, attention all fall, winter and spring sport athletes. Ripley Middle School will be hosting a brief meeting about our cardiac response plan on Monday, August 5 at 6:30 PM in the gym.
We are now required to host these meetings prior to the start of sports. As part of this, all coaches will supply a form which will require a parent signature regarding acknowledgement of our plan prior to the start of the first practice. The meeting is optional, but attendance is recommended. Each sport will also have individual plans which will be reviewed by each individual sport coach prior to the start of practice.

Good evening RMS 7th Grade Parents, this is a reminder that shots are required for students entering 7th grade in the fall.
All WV students entering 7th grade are required to have had one dose of Tdap vaccine and one dose of meningitis vaccine before the school year starts.
Students can get their Tdap and meningitis vaccines at their family doctor, the Jackson County Health Department, or the Jackson County School-Based Wellness Center. Call the Wellness Center at (304)372-7341 for summer hours.
Students cannot start school in the fall without these vaccines. Thank you and have a great day!

This is a reminder that all Jackson County Schools are closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, On Tuesday, May 28th, Jackson County Schools will have a three-hour early dismissal, which is the last day of the school year for all students. If your child rides a bus, the bus will arrive at the drop-off location three hours before the normal drop-off time. As always, you can check the Zonar app to see the exact location of your child’s bus at any given time. Have a safe and wonderful summer!

Good evening RMS 8th Grade Parents, Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to go to the Ripley City Pool tomorrow afternoon for our end of the year celebration. Students should not bring swimming clothes to school tomorrow. We have last minute secured an inflatable double slide (not a water slide) for the afternoon. We hope to see our students tomorrow in spite of the change in plans.

While touring, the students will visit the library and hear from the librarian about procedures and guidelines regarding the library. The nurse will discuss procedures and policies involving health concerns. The lunch secretary will discuss lunch procedures.
