Good evening RMS 8th Grade Families, We are taking orders for our 8th grade class signature shirt. This shirt, signed by all 8th graders, is a unique way for students to remember their classmates for years to come. The cost is $20. Proceeds fund our annual 8th grade activities at the end of the year. All checks should be made payable to Ripley Middle School. Need another order form? Ask your child to see their science teacher. Please be aware that for safety concerns all flowers are to be in a plastic vase or if glass the vase must be bagged . Also, balloons must be tied short as to not cause a distraction on the bus. Good morning, Jackson County Schools will now operate on an NTI Day for Thursday, February 06, 2025, due to multiple roads being impacted by high water throughout the county. Students should utilize their instructional packet number 4 or log in to the Canvas learning management system to complete their assignments. Good evening RMS 8th Grade Parents, this week Mr. Hamilton, School Counselor, has been meeting with all 8th grade students in their WV Studies classes regarding High School Scheduling. On Thursday, January 30, 8th graders will be meeting with Mr. Hamilton and the Ripley High School Counselors in their Science Classrooms to complete their High School Registration. The Ripley High School Program of Study is available online through the Ripley High School Website. Your child will be given their Freshman Course request and will be completing their schedule’s online on January 30th. Please review this information with your child over the next two weeks and if you need to make changes in what was completed online in class please have your child meet with Mr. Hamilton at Ripley Middle School or you can contact him with any questions or any changes that need to be made. On February 3 an information night for 8th Grade students and parents is being offered up at the High School at 6:00 p.m. in the main auditorium.
