After receiving updates from our drivers regarding morning road conditions, Jackson County Schools will continue to operate on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, December 9. Ninety-five percent of our bus routes are not affected.
However, if a bus cannot run your child's route, and you believe road conditions are still unsafe to meet the bus at a designated area, please send a note with your child to school the next day.
Also, please continue to monitor the Zonar App for bus updates.

The Non-Traditional Instructional Day has been canceled. Therefore, students will not be required to complete work remotely, and schools will remain closed. Jackson County Schools was just informed that due to the bridge construction in front of Country 21 on Route 21, delays may occur both tomorrow morning and evening. Buses 9, 12, 30, 45, 54, and 21 will run routes both in the morning and evening, but will be delayed arriving to school and returning home. Please make sure to download the Zonar app to monitor your child’s bus route and location. If you have any questions, please call the transportation office at 304-373-1020. Please have a wonderful evening.
